Good win for Manisha, 3-3* in the 3rd in Katie's match, surprised Paulenka is causing her problems.

Maia beat Scholsen 3 & 3 at Sheffield the week before Manisha played her - hopefully Manisha can win this time, should be an interesting comparison

Caroline Romeo is one of the large generic group of French women players who are decent-ish but nothing special (not meant to sound nasty but .... )

Caroline plays a large amount of tennis, about 80 matches last year. A lot based in Egypt, Tunisia, Turkey etc....Nothing of any real note to shout about....one 10k title I think last year

If Katy is on form and not injured, it should be no trouble. However, as steven said, we'd expected Katie to come through a bit more easily in today's match. Hopefully, just rustiness....

MTO in Katies match, presumably for Romeo, as Katie rushes to victory, 6-1 *4-0

Manisha into a TB, no breaks, just one BP (for Scholsen) in the set. 6-6
