And, Gabi gets a pretty good draw, all things considered.

R32: (Q) Gabriella TAYLOR (GBR) [q3] 379 v. (WC) Alison BAI (AUS) 432

Good to see Gabi making it through qualies :D
Decent chance in R1 too :)

Be interesting to see if Katie repeats her recent win over Harriet or not; other 2 been handed R1 stinkers but fingers crossed they can pull something out of the bag :)

Freya unsurprisingly finding the top seed tough work, 1-4*

Freya, 1-6
Serve % low, and only won barely 30% of all points. Her one game was a break.

Toilet break after the first set, and Frya has come back out soooo much better. Already won more points in set 2 than in the whole of set 1; serve % up 20%, and winning 30% more.
Needs to get some pressure on Hadad's serve.
1-6 3-2*

One bad game in set 2, in game 9 was enough to lose it. Maia gave nothing away on serve though.
Freya needs to start matches much more quickly, 1-6 4-6

Dart v. Boulter up next; followed by all 4 Brits in consecutive doubles.

Katie continues her ascendancy over Harriet then; good for my rankings prediction but it's a shame the draws can't keep them apart :(

Good to see Harriet and Katy back together again - it's been a few months now since they competed in doubles together
