Atlanta Falcons 28 New England Patriots 34 in overtime
Wow !! Some already well off Boston gentlemen came to Houston and mugged some poor Atlanta gentlemen.
In the 3rd quarter Atlanta went 28-3 up
At start of the 4th quarter Atlanta were 28-9 up.
Inside 4 minutes to go Atlanta were 28-20 up as New England began a drive from 91 yards out.
Just inside a minute to go, New England completed that drive, which included one quite incredible catch, 28-26 and then added a two point conversion, 28-28.
In overtime New England won the toss for first possession, drove down the field again against a shellshocked Falcons, touchdown and won 34-28.
Cue premature confetti everywhere as they were actually still reviewing whether the ball had reached the line before the runner's knee came down. They decided it had.
New England Patriots 5 Superbowls and 2 runners up since 2002. That's not meant to happen with salary caps, drafts and all the other efforts at creating a level playing field.
Salute the Patriots, coach Bill Belichick and quarter back Tom Brady, Superbowl rings for each finger of one hand. Feel for the Falcons.

I was there till the bitter end but did record it as well just in case I fell asleep. Didn't see Lady Gaga strut anything at the time as I was making myself a coffee and a sandwich so will watch again. Suffice to say wildcards in the NFL I find totally acceptable but have a different meaning!
