And that it appears will be a new CH for Miss Dunne, taking out her April 2015 CH 272. And still going, win again today and she'll be up to a live 250s ranking.

Really good to see, with her having oscillated around the WR 300 mark over the last couple of years. Be great if she could now push on again.

Zidansek played earlier, first match on her court, and 25 minutes shorter, but at least Katy is in there.

To echo other comments, hopefully it's something minor or very temporary and doesn't derail her momentum. Next week's draw in Perth looks as tough as these 2 60Ks have been (and these were tougher than last year's equivalent tournaments), but it's really encouraging that Katy is in the mix and getting wins over higher ranked opponents.

I do hope though that it is nothing really serious as having reached a new CH Katy would no doubt really want to push on.

At least for now she is still on the following week's Perth 25 K list ( week 8 from 20/02 ).
