Lisa Whybourn has withdrawn from Wirral.
Beth should get a wildcard after today's win. Maia is one out from main draw. Eleanor Dean should get some sort of wildcard with the aim to get a third counter.

Beth and Maia have also got wildcards, although as 2 and 4 on the quali list, they may well have got in without.

If there are no SEs, Maia must be in direct already if she's 20th on the list.

Well, I am just going by the ITF website - and we all know how accurate that can be with entry lists during the last few days before a tournament !

Katie Swan has withdrawn again - doesn't like Wirral?
As Edgbaston finishes on Saturday - no SE available from there.
Maia should get in directly.

Wildcards to Beth, Laura D and Eleanor Dean - one more to allocate. Lauryn?(did well last year here)

Apparently Katie was far from fully fit this week, indeed reported as looking in pain at times, so I am sure that it is no issue with Wirral ! All the best to her.

By the way, I don't really know the area at all, but didn't it use to be more the Wirral than Wirral. Now Ukraine making clear it wanted rid of its "the" had actually pretty significant and charged historical reasoning, not sure if there has been great debate in Wirral ?
