But I have never seen her play 'smart' tennis.

I think US college will do her the world of good.....

 That is the first time I have seen her play - and the fifth time I have seen Beth (3 live, 2 streamed).

I agree, Lauryn would benefit from college, and her tactical play would improve - she is, as you say, extremely talented.
