I also wouldn't go if Zverev played and he has played for 3 out of the 4 years it's run.
On the other hand might be Federer's farewell

Oh gosh - no. Too much for me! hopefully we may get the Davis cup groups stage ? I wonder where we might play that if we do?

Once they selected GB as the venue it was clear a Brit would play - although I expected it might be Cam. It might still be Cam I guess. In fact, we could put in a Team GB I would say ! If they let us!

Might be an exhibition but all 4 of the Big 4 are playing at the O2.

Might even be Djokos next appearance.

Yes, great line-up and very nice to have it at the O2 but I don't personally expect to get that much more into it than normal. And normal for me has been not very much at all.

We're not exactly talking the Ryder Cup of tennis. Though, with the LIV Golf business, gawd knows what the future holds for top level pro golf in general and the majors and Ryder Cup in particular.

I see it as a bit of entertainment tbh, its always been that. Result is given, Europe win. Its expensive to attend ie I wont be there, but its fun and meaningless entertainment to watch!

Yes, maybe I just need to compartmentalise it as entertainment rather than true sport from the off and maybe give it a go on that level.

For my sporting fix I need jeopardy, however unlikely the jeopardy. In football I will take a rather less than top level dull to most folk meaningful football match over an entertaining friendly, wirh great players involved, any day of the week.

As others have said it is no more than an exhibition. I also wouldn't go anywhere near it if there was any danger of having to watch Nadull!

My godson is looking for tickets for this as it is now sold out. If anyone hears of any availability, please can you highlight it here.

Rublev selected for team Europe in next Laver Cup. So a Russian can represent Europe in a team event , thus representing Ukraine as well who are part of Europe.

Mmm.
