Pity, but at least Tara has added 12 ranking points and has only 30 points to defend before the beginning of June and her big grass court defences start.

She is currently second only to Jo in British women's points secured since the beginning of June :

Hopefully Naomi can have a good week at Midland. It does reflect Heather's relatively barren spell of late and how she really needs a significant upturn to protect her ranking.
