Laura D is really struggling in singles - hardly won a game in the last few months. Wouldn't be surprised if she packed up pro tennis soon - (did hear a rumour of something similar a while back that she would give the pro tour a go, but if she wasn't doing well, would jack it in)

Whether she was the cause of the retirement or not, not the happiest trip for Laura D

 Fiona Codino lost in 3 sets earlier, with the second two both 6-1, which suggests that she was struggling a bit. Hopefully Laura is OK
