I was worried, with Katie having withdrawn at the last minute from the two British Tour events so far this year.

But if she's here and playing, presumably she's fine, which is great news (or not news at all, really, coz she was fine all along!).

Vondrousova's a complete ringer, she's only ranked 420 because she hasn't played for 6 months, Juniors or Seniors.
A bit unlucky for Katie to beat the seed in her section, and then be 'rewarded' like that!
Hope the Junior H2H translates well to seniors.

Two former Top 10 Juniors. The Junior H2H did not translate to Seniors

Just noticed that Vondrousova went on to take both the singles and doubles titles. Not a bad return.
