Tara will be in this and as has been updated elsewhere Laura seems to be getting very close, so hopefully we will have two here.

Tara should be as well prepared as anybody here. I doubt if there is a single other player who has already chalked up 5 matches, hopefully 5 wins, already in 2017.

Many will still be very rusty, after losing in WTA q1s.

Great news chuffed to bits for her, it's a long road back there is nowhere to hide you win or you loose, this is the level she is playing at to qualify would be a major lift. Fingers crossed.

Laura v Amandine is the yips versus the yips - both have the potential to play brilliantly and play like your worst nightmare - at least Laura knows this will NOT be a game of long rallies - that's got to suit her - and Amandine too, of course.

Galfi is a tough draw - the absolute top youngster, currently storming her way up .... but this must be her first Grand Slam, no ?

Great to see both of them there, and definitely both have a chance....

Galfi had a Junior career high of 1 in Sept 2015 when she was 17 years old.
