That's 100 points for reaching the QF, which in Jo Konta world is a non counter ( 16th counter 105 ), so better keep winning then. And, with Kuznetsova defending Sydney 2016 title points and losing in R2, if Jo does reach the SF she will be back up to her CH 9.

Not the most exciting set of tennis, Kasatkina looks a bit flat after yesterday's big win. Jo pretty much in control without having to be at her best and I feel she could up her level if needed.
Impressive stuff.
A resurgent Genie next (back-to-back straight set wins over Zhang Shuai, Domi & Pav), who gave Jo lots of trouble in the only previous meeting, taking the return early, and taking lots of chances with it.
