Laura is in the qualifying draw for Aukland, where Naomi will be the #1 Q seed if she does not make the MD.

It being difficult to be in two places at once, Laura has withdrawn from the Hong Kong 25K and will I assume appear in Auckland qualifying.

Will be interesting to see how Laura fares now. After that 25k win and qualifying for the US open i really thought she was back.

Hopefully things get back on track down under.

As a result of Ana Ivanovic's retirment, Andreea Mitu (212) has moved into AO qualifying. Laura is currently 222, so still 10 places away.

 Laura's a late withdrawal dated today from the HK 25K. Don't know whether that means a fine or not.

ITF rules are complicated, but it appears that the first three late withdrawals in a calendar year are excused (Code of Conduct - Article III (b) i )
