I just joined as a new member here. I'm an American, so I generally root for Americans (how bout that Isner-Mahut match at Wimbledon in 2010!), but primarily I'm a TCU Frog fan, and with Cameron Norrie and Alastair Gray on our team, and Luke Bambridge as a good TCU friend, and Johanna Konta having had TCU alum Esteban Carril as her coach for 2 and 1/2 years, it's almost like I'm a real British tennis fan. And my ancestors were English and Scottish (with a little Welsh thrown in), so I have many British cousins. And, on my mother's father's side, I descend from the Stuarts, so I'm probably something like 3,800,999th in line for the thrown or thereabout. Go British tennis players! And especially Cam and Alastair and Luke and Johanna!
Howdee Jared and thank you very much for posting again, any updates very welcome, Cam as one of, ad probably our the best British prospect outside the top 100 is followed very closely in various threads across the whole site.
Any general updates about TCU's performances would be very welcome in the general College tennis thread where most of the information comes from the college websites, particularly now Ali G (who has a very big following in Staines) has joined you.
I am sure you won't be suprised to find that there are about 100 British players of either sex in US College tennis, and they are all followed to varying degrees particular those ranked highly as juniors (predominantly due to the great work of the O). Interestingly you will see Memphis for a number of years has resembled little Britain and we have some issues with Long Beach's coach on recruiting on the ladies side. Any views from stateside welcome.
