Katy and her partner win their doubles 5-7 6-1 10-8
So she now knows what to expect out on the court before her singles match

Isn't Ankita Raina EWS's frequent doubles partner? Seems a talented person.

Excellent win and now starting to build back up counters greater than 1, which will protect her ranking in lean spells.
I'm hoping she can really build on the trip down under and have a good couple of weeks and improve that ranking.
