I see Fed was down to play the IPTL series this winter but has withdrawn - BBC seems to suggest it is down to his knee still but further down it turns out the IPTL is having financial problems and that both Fed and Serena have pulled out.

Whatever the truth of it I do wonder whether we will see Fed again - actually, i wonder whether i want to see him again; he was the best player of my lifetime and I am not sure I want to see him struggling outside the top 20 or whatever. Why damage his legacy, and it is not as if he needs the money. 

Time will tell, lets see if he plays down under next month.
