Indeed. Meanwhile a ding-dong battle between the top seed and the other 18yo prodigy in the draw, Youssef Hassam. Hassam a break up in the third - would be an interesting final.

The youngster's won it, taken out the top seed.
So F: Jay Clarke (6) vs Youssef Hossam, the latter currently ranked 1037.

Hossam won the last time the two met in Cairo (in late Sept/early October), but Jay Clarke has progressed quite a bit since then. Suspect this may not be the last time they meet in competition!
That was a brutal takedown by Jay. Hopefully he schedules a week off as playing so many weeks consequtively at 18 might not be healthy. Congratulations on such a resounding victory.
Belated congratulations to Jay for the wonderful run of results. I have been following closely - Yaz and Curtis are doing an excellent job. Good luck in the final, Jay.
Brilliant. That second set seemed to be so well in hand - broke quite early and then was very comfortable holding serve and never looked in trouble. (First set might have been the same too - didn't 'see' that one)
Kedders as I recall was in the 440s when he was about a month older than Jay is now so exciting progress!
Well done to Yas too for her coaching support. I personally think a charity fund raising Battle of the Brit Tennis Families should be arranged - the Broadys v the Clarkes following a Hopman Cup style format
Probably a bit higher. Looking at the live rankings it seems he may slot in in the low 530s once his second batch of 18 points add a week tomorrow, taking him to 65 points. Basically up about 200 places in two weeks.
Oh and with these points included he's #36 in the live race
