This week also has (at the end) the British Tour Masters which will feature a fair few of our higher-ranked players (and has a pay-out which is very healthy, by lower tennis standards).
thanks CD - the lta website described the event (16 players, 13 top points scorers plus winners of the premier tier events) but didnt show who was qualified as playing - is there a list somewhere of the fields??
Well the winners of the premier tier events were :-
Joshua Ward-Hibbert, Neil Pauffley and Keelan Oakley
Freya Christie, Emily Arbuthnott and Lisa Whybourn
But a number of the top qualified players are now at US colleges, so I guess we will have to wait until early next week to find out who has accepted invites.
"The top 13 men, and top 13 women will be invited to the year-end masters, with no requirement for a minimum number of events played. Players winning a premier tier event, who are recognised by the ITF as playing under Great Britain, will be offered a wild card into the Aegon British Tour Masters. If the wild card is not required, then the next player on the leaderboard will be invited.
If a player is unable to take part then their place will be allocated to the next person on the leaderboard."
You can get the leaderboards if you click on the 'view' for Aegon British Tour Learderboard, choose leaderboards and then filter.
Beth and Lisa are the two highest ranked of the women, the men has Jay Clarke, Luke Oakley, Neil P .... Obviously some might not turn up but the payout is good, I'd have thought they would (unless in farflung places).

Thanks CD and The Addict. Maybe I am filtering wrong but mens leaderboard shows as Marcus Walters as number one...??!
Laura Deigman no longer going to Djibouti, but you have to ask the question is it worth putting on this tournament - 12 only on the entry list....The following week only 20.
