Looks like they got about 5-10 mins of play before the rain returned.

It was enough time for Joel to even up the H2H against Ali G who beat him a few weeks ago. It must be so tough playing against your friends, especially when it is R1 in some distant land and you have both made the effort (and expense) to travel.

Pleased for Joel though, and I am sure Ali G will have his day too. They are both clearly playing well at the moment.

That's a nice win for Adam.

Unfortunately, Luke O lost in two tie-breaks.

L32:  Alen Avidzba (RUS) WR 1066 (CH = 1050 last month - yet another pesky 16-year-old!)  def.  (Q) Luke Oakley WR 1356  7-6(6)  7-6(1)

L32:  Adam Thornton-Brown WR 1582 (CH = 1176 in July 2014)  def. Mircea-Alexandru Jecan (ROU) WR 840 (CH = 768 in June) 7-5  5-7  6-3
