Good luck to both.

Em's schedule seems to be determined by her legs. She made a comment that she couldn't play in Thailand because the humidity was too high for her skin as part of the burns recovery.

Surprised she isn't playing doubles though, just for a bit of additional court time.

Em got off to a good start, but a 4-0* lead now cut down to 4-3*

Saves a couple of set points to break back for *5-5, but is then broken on a double

5-6*

First set gone 5-7.

I remain slightly confused by her popping up in a 10k for singles only, given everything pointed to her being doubles focused. Maybe she just wanted some court time after her injury layoff and there were slim pickings available before a couple of 25ks in India to end the year.

Obviously it would be nice for her to get a run here, but I'm not that surprised she's down to Bonic all things considered.

Over and out 7-5 6-1

Bit frustrating but to be honest when the draw came out I didn't think she'd make it past round 2.

As long as her skin is healing and she's not playing in pain we're all good

Suzy up for her doubles later.

Pity re Em, but great just that she's back playing and shows no signs of wanting to stop playing and touring the world.

Yes, hope the healing going well.
