Understandable re Andy. The guy's stagnating a bit, only moved one place in the rankings this year, and I understand could fall back again this week, and winning Wimbledon and the Olympics, well we've been there before with each of them
Round robin match 1 (Group Edberg/Jarryd): (2) Jamie Murray & Bruno Soares (BRA) CR 7 (4+3) defeated (8) Treat Huey & Max Mirnyi (PHI/BLR) CR 43 (22+21) by 4 & 5
Mahut & PHH (1) have just been beaten by Klaasen & Ram (7) in the other (Fleming/McEnroe) group by 5 & 4!
Also in the other group, Kontinen & Peers (5) defeated los López (4) by 6-3 7-6(7).
Kontinen & Peers were finalists in Shanghai and won Paris so come here in good shape. Seem on the up, could have a good week and with little to defend in the early months next year might really move up a good bit further.
