Week 45- Challenger ($50,000) - Knoxville, TN, USA (indoor hard)

4-4 each back from a break down. This is there for the taking if he can get the first serve back only made 33per cent first serves.

Ed has some great forehand and slice shots, has had Kozlov out of position a few times

Unfortunately, he didn't.  1st serve %age was 30% in that first set. And to compound that, when serving at *4-5 0-40, he saved 2 SPs and then gave up the 3rd with a DF.

Ed loses 4-6 3-6. His serve let him down today. You could see how disappointed he was with the double on set point in the first. He's going to need another QF run in his final tournament of the year in Champaign for make Aus qualies probably. The good news is it's a lot weaker field than this week.

The singles final was won by Michael Mmoh, giving the US 5 teenagers in the top 210. Polansky and Shamasdin, who defeated Dan Evans and Ed Corrie, won the doubles.
