Mega congrats to Laura S, defeating the 8th seed from France, 7-6(0) 7-5

Kasia seems to have fell apart after she lost a tight first set - losing to French 17 year-old, 7-6 6-1

Maia defeated Eden S in three.

Third counter and thus a ranking for Ella and Eden. Well done.

With Dominique Covington getting a counter in Greece to restore the ranking she will temporarily lose on Monday there will be 36 GB women ranked on Monday week, as many as I can recall since following this.

Also good to see Alicia, Laura and Lauryn getting further counters to firm up their rankings and Francesca getting her first counter.

And just so they don't feel left out, well done to 'old hands' Maia and Beth.
