And Olivia gets drawn to play Beth of all people ! They are seeded 2 again in the doubles, with Ivanova and Krajsova top seeds, as last week.

So with Olivia having 2 counters Bad Beth stands in the way of her getting a ranking.

Very easy victories for Lily. I'm a bit surprised as every time I've seen her, she has been outclassed at this level.

Lily beat Thalia in three sets at Surbiton too (might be more a comment on Thalia, obviously, than Lily)
But I said on the Roehampton thread, Lily G has made a lot of progress in recent months, quite marked - she played two very good matches there.
In absolute terms, it's not something to shout from the roof-tops, but she's only just 17 and one can't ask for anything more than huge progress.
