Those doubles results should obviously give Ali Gray his first ATP doubles ranking, to add to his new singles one from last week.

Max Authom went 3-0 up against Marshall

And then Tutu won the next 6 games, taking the set 6-3

Now there's an MTO

Max has played a lot of tennis recently....two 10k titles back to back, and doubles.....

Rich has also recovered from an early break down and is currently at 4-4*

Jonny is a break up at 5-2* and has already won 3 more games than the last time he played Grigelis.

Clearly the MTO has worked for Authom as he is *3-0 up in the 2nd. Let's see if Marshall can repeat his 1st set performance and turn the tables on the top seed.

Yes. I blame that British physio ! cry

He could have done his job a little less well......

(Of course, it's just possible that the MTO was for Marshall. Or it was just a ploy by Max and nothing wrong...)

But he's now 0-4 down so it's going to have to be an even bigger comeback....

There was an air of inevitability that a pesky would bite the dust in that one wink

Big win for Jonny taking out Grigelis 3&3. The 6 points already in the bag will take him very close to the Top 500. A win over Freddie Nielsen in the SF (sorry Danis D) should seal the deal.

Edit

Cancel that.  I really should do my research before posting.  Jonny has 8 points coming off on the 14th Nov, so would have to win the title here to make the top 500.  It's coming though, of that I am sure.

Marshall fighting hard in the 3rd but Authom is a double break up at *5-2

So over to Rich who went a break down early in the 2nd as well, but has once again recovered. Currently 3-2* up.

Authom has beaten Marshall 6-2 in the 3rd. Really good week for Marshall though.
