Max Stewart (if recovered), Aidan McHugh, Jack Molloy, Damian Rodriguez, Ewen Lumsden, Jake Hersey, Jack Draper and Ali Collins should be in the main draw for the second Spanish G2 starting tomorrow. Harry Butler has won his opening match in qualifying

Splendid score by Jack M against a top 100 ranked player. Three boys in G2 semis is a welcome novelty. The one non-Brit is very strong though - the Russian who led his team to the Junior Davis Cup and followed that by winning last week's G2 without dropping a set.

As expected Jack M found Avidzba too hot, but Aidan is through to his first G2 final. Jack D will have the consolation of joining the handful of 2001s ranked inside the top 200

A grade 2 SF for a 15-year-old is nothing to be sneezed at - and certainly the first set was competitive. The young Russian sounds like a future one to watch - but good luck to Aidan McHugh in the final!

Jack is only 14, in fact. His birthday is late December so he's a baby by 2001 standards.

And Aidan is only a 2000 too (i.e. 16). Just two weeks ago he got knocked out in R1 of a G4. And now he's in the final of a G2. Great game, tennis
