Shame, but it's been a pretty heady and demanding few months for him since the US Open and his body's probably starting to feel it now. A rest should do him good.
By the by, I also note that Jonea Bach is entered here.
Jojo played for GB until very recently and has been mentioned in the junior threads a bit (played quite a few tournaments in Africa, played doubles with Esther Adeshina...)
But has switched her nationality (it seems) to France - she lives there and is as at the ITC Excellence academy. I believe that her dad is French but her brother works as a fitness coach in a tennis centre in Britain. Assume the mother is British?
Looking at MTF lists for Paris, kyle is showing as out (although still in Q list?). presumably the out notification on main list is correct and he has withdrawn following Vienna injury?

Kyle has announced through his Facebook page that he has called an end to his season. He has not said it was because of injury directly, but at the end of a long (and highly successful) season, it is not worth taking the risk with any slight niggle.
I think he has made the right decision. Some hard earned rest is on the menu, before targeting a fast start to 2017.
Well done Kedders. Great year. Enjoy your downtime. You've earned it.

That Antwerp SF against Gasquet was the best, most assured and commanding I personally have ever seen Kyle, he was so impressive and so belonged against an in form Gasquet, who was still getting soundly beaten. It then went a bit pear shaped at the end of the second set and in the third. But maybe that was already some hidden injury issue and / or matches catching up.
In three successive weeks, with qualifiers, he played 5 matches in Beijing, 4 in Shanghai and 4 in Antwerp and had them been scheduled for a fourth and fifth week in Vienna and Paris. In a way at his stage he had become too good for that schedule in going too deep at that level week on week.
Hope there is nothing particularly serious, rest, recuperate and train for a 2017 that promises so much.
Totally agree, well deserved rest! Is Dan still playing Paris qualies before heading to USA? I noticed some twitter traffic having a little dig at Marcus Willis and the tie break tens and suggesting to Marcus it was time to play some real tennis!
