Dragos Ignat is underranked as appears just to have finished university, but shouldn't, based on his recent record, be a problem for Mr Corrie. Dominik Koepfer likewise just finished university - after having been the top-ranked player in the country for part of the year - a particularly strong achievement given that his university, Tulane, does not appear to be a tennis power. Not a great draw. I'd never noticed Mohamed Aziz Dougaz, but he seems to be quite a good young player (JR 46). I see he beat Keelan Oakley quite solidly at Sharm a few months ago.

Nice doubles pairing for Mr Bambridge: Evan King's CH is 179 and from what I can recall, he's quite a decent doubles player.

Bambo is a set up in his singles match.
Ed unfortunately retired at the end of set 2

Bambridge won 3&2.

Is this a 25k? The ITF site has it as a 15k.

Yes I noticed that on the ITF live scores though elsewhere they have it as a 25K.

Given that this year there is no such thing as a 15K ( futures are 10K and 25K ) I think we can take it as a 25K.

ITF scores show Ed as beaten 6-7(7) 6-2 3-1 retired. But yes real pity whatever.

R2: (6) Luke Bambridge WR 544 vs (WC) Tomas Stillman (USA) UNR (CH 1399 in September 2015)

Luke is the highest of the 3 remaining seeds, the top 5 seeds having exited in R1.

Luke into a first set TB.

He has won 25/31 service points and Stillman 24/29 ( so 30 points apiece ). Not surprisingly then no breaks though Stillman did fashion one BP.
