Which is 2-1 with Mr Klein leading on serve. I've watched the last two games, which have not shown Frances Tiafoe in his best light. Can't seem to find a first serve much of the time, and his second serve needs a lot of work. Looks a bit tired. Mr Klein playing well.
Edit: Now 2-2, with the last game being quite different, as Mr Tiafoe improved considerably. Mr Klein still playing well - has hit two really fine lobs to win points. That's it for me, though ...

R1: (1) Brian Baker & Matt Reid (USA/AUS) CR 186 (82+104) beat Marcelo Arevalo (ESA) & Brydan Klein CR 314 (140+174) 6-2 6-2
Interesting, if Brydan + had won this doubles, they'd have been through to the next round as Struvay/Falla defaulted. struvay defaulted after 2 sets of his singles too.
I think stating a player has peaked at 22 is a bit premature to be honest. Players can develop weapons later in their careers and with the peak age in the early 30s in this day and age there is plenty of time in Liam's career to develop into a top 100 player.
