Dominic found the top Russian too hot (who with the aforementioned Skatov also took care of Aidan and Jake in the doubles), but Max ensures a semifinalist in the singles

(2) Alen Avizba (RUS) d. (Q) Dominic West 6-0 6-2

Max comfortably wins the all-Brit battle to have a crack at Avizba, who is on the cusp of the ATP top 1000. Success for Max would probably be enough to take him into the junior top 100 for the first time

QF

(1) Michael Vrbensky (CZE) d. (7) Barnaby Smith 6-1 6-3
(4) Max Stewart d. Aidan McHugh 6-1 6-2

SF

(4) Max Stewart v (2) Alen Avizba (RUS)

Its unlikely Max will play tomorrow as he injured his shoulder during his 1st round match on Tuesday and its progressively got worse. He'll see the physio in the morning to make a final decision.

Thank you for the information, and welcome to the board!

To know he was injured makes the various victories even more impressive. But yes, first priority must be health. Hope all goes well.

Seconded - unfortunately Max has indeed given a walkover, so hope he is able to recover quickly. The final is between the top two seeds.
