Cabal & Farrah are in the other half of the draw next week. The other seeds in their half are Kubot & Melo (3), Bopanna & Nestor (6) & Lindstedt & Pospisil (8). The Bryans are the second seeds.

In Mahut and Herbert's absence this week and Melo defending the title, as far as I can see Bruno will go WR 1 if the boys reach the SF here.

He will swap round with Jamie because Jamie will drop 90 points ( his 18th best, didn't play Shanghai last year ) and Bruno will drop his last year's Shanghai, precisely zero.

Anyway, Jamie's been there done it, Bruno's CH is WR 3.

Qualifiers now placed & Kyle again finds himself in Andy's half of the draw & Stan the Man's quarter.

L64: (Q) Kyle Edmund WR 54 vs Federico Delbonis (ARG) WR 47 (CH = 33 in May)

A pretty decent first round match-up, but Stan lies in wait in the next if he wins it. hmm

First thing I check when I wake up is the score from China. Great to see another battling win from Kyle. That's more points and another shot at a Main Draw in a Masters 1000.
