They started really well, but Hev's seve was vulnerable and not as consistent as the top seeds.

With Cibulkova winning the Linz title and Kuznetsova exiting at the SF stage in Tianjin Cibulkova is safe in the top 8 for Singapore, just behind Keys ( the WTA actually only guarantee places to the top 7 but I assume top 8 will get you there ).

For whatever it might yet matter Suarez Navarro and Kuznetsova are each in the position of having to win the Moscow title to overtake Jo for 9th.
