Much needed win for Heather, and she did well to prevail in two close sets. Although she beat Wozniacki earlier this year, she is a different prospect now and if Hev could defeat her here it would be a much more impressive win.
I've just seen that Cibulkova plays Bencic in her 1st round in Linz today, which makes me think Jo chose the right tournament to play draw-wise. Wozniacki would be a tough QF opponent but hopefully Jo won't get to play her.

Cibulkova beat Bencic 6-1 6-2. Still no direct race issue since she needs to reach the SF to beat her 16th counter of 100 and even then would only initially gain a net 10 ( though 10 points is what she is currently behind Jo ). She plays Annika Beck in R2.
Jo's 16th best is 55 so reaching the QF and 60 points would see her adding net points, if only 5 to start.

Well I got that wrong in thinking Bencic was a tough draw as she put up little resistance. All of the players with tour finals qualification to play for are still going this week.
