Harriet has put in some decent performances from Wimbledon qualifying through the summer and into Autumn, shame she couldn't pull off a shock result here

Nice to see Katie win a tight first set and really push home the psychological advantage and storm the second. Karatantcheva looks to have had an interesting career phenomenal start as a 14-16 year old.

Her early results were surely at least partly down to being doped by the scum who thought that giving performance enhancing drugs to a child was justifiable.

Slightly ironic that her nemesis as a junior was Sharapova and immensely frustrating that her presumably drug free level is outside/cusp of the top 100 given the number of British girls playing at that level in the first decade of the millennium.

Katie is into set 2. Lost the first on a tight tiebreak with four breaks apiece in the set. Broke at the start of the second set, but broken back.

Katie served for the second set at *5-2 but was broken ( just the 13th break of serve in total in the match ).

Now returning for it at 5-3*
