For Kyle to win the match, I think he probably had to take that first set. I expect Andy to take the 2nd more comfortably - but I've been wrong before.
Well, Bob. Kyle's just roared into a *2-0 lead in the second...
Well played Andy. Now go get that Nş1 spot from Djokovic. But another landmark week for Kyle, and by the sounds of it, a highly competitive performance today as well.
Incredible serving stats for Andy in the first set. Kyle did a great job staying with him and I think he again showed that it's a matter of when and not if he starts winning matches against the top 10.
Kyle has left quite a number of contemporaries well behind, that maybe shot out the blocks quicker as seniors, but Kyle has kept on a steady ( rather more than steady of late! ) relentless year on year rise up the rankings towards - now that is the exciting question ...
Really impressed by Kyle today, that fearhand just keeps getting better, and eventhough Andy wasn't at his best in the 1st set, his level was still decent.
