As LordBrownof points out Domi is now playing Linz, maybe a bit concussed though
Edit: actually the live site seems to not yet be showing any of the Linz MD entries which also include Muguruza, Keys ( also a WC ) and Suarez Navarro.

9 of the world's top 14 are in action in International events next week with everyone aiming for those crucial race points (plus Kerber and Radwanska playing without the need for points)
Jo's first half of the year wasn"t bad with that Australian Open SF getting her flying
Now actually she has collected rather more points in the last three months and six counters than she did up to and including Wimbledon, and collected more in the last two weeks in China than she did from that Aussie Open SF.
10 counters up to and including Wimbledon: 1610 6 counters in last three months since Wimbledon: 1845
Total: 3455
Pity she couldn't have had a better first half of the year or who knows where she might be
Just such a superb year !

Thanks for that - I tweeted those stats giving you credit (as Indiana - I always forget what your name is on Twitter itself, sorry!)
JoKo is the ultimate lesson to other Brits of what amazing things can happen if you use a breakthrough tournament to spur yourself on to work and play even harder instead of just basking in the glow for a while before trying to push on - points come off way too fast (12 months can pass so quickly) to make the latter a workable plan.
P.S. to those who think I'm talking about Marcus, I guess I am in a way (though who knows what has led to him to not playing much since Wimbledon - I don't know if he's fully fit and I can understand why he might have felt the need to maximise earnings from his Wimbledon exposure, not least with a baby on the way!) but it has happened again and again over the years.
Of course, you could argue that the others just weren't good enough to do anything like what JoKo has done but I hope Brits who get breakthrough wins in big events in future get inspired to work even harder by what JoKo has done (and Kyle, Naomi and latterly Evo, to be fair, if not quite as spectacularly yet)

Jo probably deserves the full 650 points on the top 25 as she's done so well
Question - when was the last time a brit woman (other than Jo) got 650 or greater?
Thanks, though I had updated it in the meantime, having finally noticed that I hadn't updated the points total when I was adding the new rankings to the table - she's confirmed up 5 at 9
The answer to your question is: when JoKo herself reached the AO semis this year! The last time it could have happened before that would have been when the ranking point system was completely different.

When I started following women's tennis 16 years ago we barely had anyone in the top 200. Absolutely incredible to have a top 10'r, and I'd be lying if I said I thought Jo would ever achieve this.
I thought she would have an excellent top 50 career if she got it together, but this? Just incredible. A joy to have followed her journey and there is still a long way to go.
But, take a bow Johanna Konta, amazing application, work ethic, and belief; no shortage of skill, too, and so many areas that could potentially improve. Still this is more than I ever dreamed of, though one suspects, not her, which is why she is the champion, not I
History records you justly:
Chuffed to bits.
Will someone stop cutting those damned onions!

Data I post, opinions I offer, 'facts' I assert, are almost certainly all stupidly wrong.
Amazing, just amazing, and I can see her consolidating next year at this level or not dropping too far, even if its a much more difficult next year, as consistency is possibly one of her biggest assets.
