Konjuh holding very easily past few games. Jo struggling.

Could be a bumpy ride folks

*4-5

Broken from 30-15 to lose the set.

If Konjuh is on its hard to reign her in. Have to hope she drops her level.

Konjuh seems to be winning a lot of points against Jo's first serve - not what I expected

Is it possible that Jo has a shoulder problem which maybe why she has not, all week,  been producing the number of Aces she usually does, but her forehand has still had the fire power ?

Well, that's that

4-6 3-6

Just not at the races. Konjuh a talent and she stepped up today. Jo didn't for whatever reason. Big ask now. Damn

Hev and Joss for me. Jo doesn't seem to be in a good head space.

Wasn't expecting that result. We are going to have to do it the hard way now.

My thoughts on the doubles team yesterday were assuming that if it got to 1-1 it would be Heather losing and Jo winning. I think Anne has a tough choice now and we just have to back whoever is chosen.

Yup. Konjuh maybe just got hot today after a poor show yesterday, she's so talented and if Jo wasn't feeling the ball and not serving well it was never a done deal. Annoying because with a top tenner we should be out this group but these things happen.

Just got to hope the doubles pair bring it home.

Wasn't expecting that - Jo must be OK though or she wouldn't be chosen

Konta and Watson by the looks of it.

Jo and Heather - fair enough choice, though you could make a case for any of the 6 combinations. I was thinking if Judy Murray was still in charge she would have been more inclined to keep with Joss & Laura. Anne has chosen to put our best two players on court, and if it gets close they are the most likely to deal with the pressure.
