No joy for Lauryn or Hannah, but they had tough match ups.

Beth must have a chance, if she has recovered from her earlier match

Hoping the LTA give some of the girls with double counters wildcards to the 25Ks to get on them the ranking list

I agree with you, but the remaining tournaments this year are all 10k's aren't they ?

Sorry - you are quite right - Loughborough, Sheffield and Shrewsbury are all 10Ks

Shrewsbury has been downgraded from last year (hence why I assumed it was a 25k)

 Real shame that, but hopefully the locations will deter the peskies, and the chance for those extra points will be better

5 consecutive breaks of serve, and then Beth holds to take the second set 7-5. Into the decider ....

3-5* in the final set.

But of course she will be back on her court in a little while for doubles.
