She's fairly safe through to Auckland in the top 100.
She's off to Beijing now, then Hong Kong and the WTA 125ks to finish the year. Really surprised she's not playing Linz and Luxembourg, as surface wise they play to her strengths, but hopefully she can have a strong few weeks to consolidate herself. Big points still up for grabs.
As much as Naomi has improved in the last 15 months, her off days are still pretty bad, and it sounds like one of those today. The good thing is that they tend to be one-offs rather than a run of bad matches, so I'm sure she will put this one behind her and move on.

If she'd played at a similar level to round 1, she'd have won this one fairly comfortably I think. Just struggled to hit through the big loopy shots and was pressing herself into silly errors.
