QF:  Youssef Hossam (EGY) WR 1019 defeated Jay Clarke WR 1238 by 3-6 7-6(4) 6-3  cry

Much as with Joel, this has been a very good three week stint for Jay who has shown some real form and consistency at this level. He is now officially on my list of potential Top 500 players for next season.

Pity, but still well done.

I believe that Jay, on 13 points, will just miss a place in Monday week's GB top 25 on tiebreak.

But that will come as should a top 500 ranking ( for starters ) in time.
