Yes.  Last week's SF will see Jay borderline Top 1000 but if he doesn't quite make it on Monday, this point today will surely seal the deal for the following Monday.  Hopefully more to come too, having dispatched top seed in such fine style.

Great to see Jay picking up some eye catching wins, great lad and a great family, couldn't be happier, and this is just the beginning.

A really good win and sorry to put the mockers on it but let's just see how he gets on tomorrow....

I find it hard to believe that such a win wasn't against a WR<200 who was fully fit at this stage although Jay obviously has bags and bags of potential!!

Well, young Jay is racing through his match against Quali Spaniard - currently winning 6-0 3-0...

Nicely brought up of Jay to allow his opponent one game.

He wins 6-0 6-1

Jay clearly improving rapidly. He dropped 2 games yesterday and only 1 game today wink

Seriously though, he is on fire this week and long may it continue.

Great to see a big performance backed up today, reinforces the thinking that Jay is really improving at a rapid rate, just brilliant.

Hossam's a junior, and (as may have been mentioned elsewhere before) his most significant statistic may be his junior CH of 8. Should be a little more challenging than the previous two matches.

Jay has taken the first set 6-3

I thought they might have played before, given they're both the same year ('98) and with similar junior rankings (CH 8 for Hossam, CH 15 for Jay). But I don't think they have.
