Freya ( or Greta as my autocorrect always changes her to if I'm not concentrating ) won 6-1 6-4

Her 'in running' 136 ranking points should have her close to her CH 310 on Monday week. A SF win would take her into the top 300 for the first time. And she still has next week's 75K to count towards that Monday week ranking.

Let's hope Freya can keep flying the flag and pick up some decent points. Great shame we got such a lopsided draw from a British perspective. Life will get easier for Katie as she sees a few more college campuses and establishes a rank.

First set nabbed in the TB, and Freya scents a final on the back of excellent serving (3 Aces, 0 DF, 78.4% 1st in, 75.9% 1st won, 62.5% 2nd won)
