Katie B's served no double faults and has a 55% first serve percentage. Which is a lot higher than Katie Swan's 37%. And far better than her opponent, who's only won 33% of her serves.
Freya Christie could just about be Lindsay Lee-Waters' daughter age-wise.
Lindsay Lee-Waters is certainly a blast from the past! I remember her playing Sabatini and Fernandez! Surely she is just playing as a hobby now and she did retire during the last 20 years?!
Katie S's 2nd serve was 100% and helped her win her points on serve whilst Katie B lost her serve however matters were quickly resolved both doing well
Katie S 5-3 serving for the set
Katie B 4-1

She's almost exactly 3 years older than Venus. Her playing record shows she has played regularly throughout every year since 1994!
In Ms. Swan's match, there was an MTO at the end of set 1. If the ITF ever decide to release an upgraded iteration of their live scoring, then a nice little quality of life enhancement would be to add in the name of the player that took the break/treatment.
In the absence of that information, one could presume that the flow and result of the second set was due to either an injury to Katie affecting her performance, or some good treatment allowing her opponent to play more freely and successfully.
