This was a great event for Naomi last year, reaching the semi-finals, and presents a good opportunity for her this week too. Not the strongest draw for a WTA International by any means, and in fact the 8th seed is ranked outside the top 100. To match last year's semi-final, Naomi may well have to beat defending champion Annika Beck though.

Some crazy genius strategy has then effectively play well for 3 games and a TB to get in to the MTB, but it's worked! 1-6 7-6(3)
