I thought it was a little strange to see Emily Appleton playing Indonesia, but it looks like a warm up for a grade A in Japan the following week and there aren't any suitable junior tournaments in the area that week.
Wardy has withdrawn from Fairfield, no further info so hope it is not an injury to add to his generally poor luck this year. Looking for a silver lining that does mean all the Brit alternates are bumped up 1 spot with Liam now just 1 out from the MD.
There are two SE's to clear - Liam is 1st alt, Cam 3rd alt. I suspect both will make main draw
Liam now in the MD following a couple of withdrawals with Cam up to 1st alt and Lloyd now 4 spots out. Cam must be a lock for a MD spot now and Lloyd also has a great shot. Brydan now 9 spots out so a little more of a long shot to avoid qualifying.
Aljaz has withdrawn from Casablanca. He hasn't played much since the US so I doubt it's an injury, probably would rather get some hard court practice ahead of Stockholm/Antwerp in week 42. Always seemed an odd bit of scheduling to go play dirt ball the week before playing a hard court 250.
