You'll have to forgive me - I am new to the board and wasnt sure how new threads get started! I noticed on the entry lists for w.c. 24th October events, Dan Evans is in the main draw list for Stockholm, Kyle is alt 6 for Moscow and alt 8 for Stockholm and Antwerp and Aljaz is alt 2 for Stockholm and Antwerp (not sure why he isnt on Moscow as he would also be alt 2 there as well).

Once the right entry date thread is up, I can move this across to that and sorry for an inconvenience!!

Jon - I try and keep the entry threads about a month ahead when I have time to update them. I will try and update the next entry list some time this week.

Excuse me sticking my oar in.

paulisi does an excellent job with these entry lists, I refer to them all the time. When you are in an individual topic JonH......such as this one is "GB entries and rankings"....you can click the tab at the top right to start a new topic. The subject header and content layout can be copied from here but altered for the correct detail.

I say this because I think a lot of what goes on here is a lot of work for people and, I am sure any help offered would be appreciated by all but sometimes someone new may feel they are stepping on someones toes??? I am sure thats not the case JonH and if you ever wanted to chip in JonH.....as someone who has little time myself, I for one would appreciate it!

Hi Shhh - you are quite right! The technical input is well taken and I will use it I am sure! I think as a newbie , one is always a little wary about "how things work around here" and the fact that processes and roles sort of evolve - inevitably I guess I was a little cautious around quite how and where to contribute, a little at a time tends to be my way! As an example, whilst a big GB tennis fan, I am also a more general fan and anyone who has read my posts to date may see that I like to comment on "related topics" which arent quite focused on GB tennis eg the France v Croatia DC tie captures my interest as much as the GB tie to an extent, in large part because we play the winner next. But I was a little wary of the rights and wrongs of raising that topic on a GB mens section at first!

Anyway, your advise is well intended and certainly not butting in, and certainly helps! As a 51 year old family man from "up north" I am probably more cautious of other people's feelings that I expected I would be at this stage in my life!

As a 52 year old family man from "daaan sarf" I get where you're coming from

The only issue if you want to start a new thread is that you have to keep it up to date as only the mods can edit and there are only a few of them at the moment.

I've no issues if someone would like to start an entry list, but they must keep it up to date for the reasons mentioned above.

Challenger entry lists are out and a few of our guys in action. James Ward is in the main draw at Fairfield and Liam, Cameron, Lloyd and Brydan are 2nd, 4th, 7th and 12th on the alternates list. Aljaz Bedene is 2nd on the MD entry list in Morocco. Pleased AB is playing again this week but after skipping week 40 and having entered hard court ATP events for week 42 I thought he would be more likely to transition to hard and show up in Tashkent this week.

Nigeria of all places - she had a video on twitter hitting recently. Heard visas can sometime be a problem in Nigeria

I guess it is a bit far for the drink spikers to follow her.

Seriously though, all the very best to her.

I thought, after her mum's worries, and Kazakhstan and all, that Gabi wasn't going to be let step foot on exotic foreign soils.....

But well done to her and all the best best of luck !

Wardy has withdrawn from Fairfield, no further info so hope it is not an injury to add to his generally poor luck this year. Looking for a silver lining that does mean all the Brit alternates are bumped up 1 spot with Liam now just 1 out from the MD.
