The top four on the entry list are ranked in the 600's, then a gap to 864. From what I saw at Sutton, Eleanor is easily capable of winning the tournament, provided she doesn't have to play the top players too early, and remains fit.
Yes, she won the British Tour event at Cumberland with some ease, but didn't have to qualify. Although the entry list wasn't very strong that week, Mollie Crouch being the top seed.
It was the following week, at Sutton where she had to get through two rounds of qualies, and two rounds in the main draw before retiring in the third set against Katy Dunne.
In her previous comeback in February 2014 ( which is what I think Mervatron is referring to ) Eleanor won her second ITF 10K event in Lanzorote after one qualifying round. Her first ITF week back ( the 10K in Lanzorote the previous week ) she reached the QF after two qualifying rounds.

Just went on ITF and had a look at Eleanors career. She's won so many 10k's already barely playing any tennis. Including her 1st as a 15 year old on clay. The talent is clearly there, seems to be about her body holding up.
Would be another nice addition to the young talent coming up behind the big 5 with Freya, Gabby, Katie S.
