Thanks Bob, yep they're definitely a good pairing. Jonny just phoned to tell us about the craziest championship tiebreaker he's ever played in! But you'll have to catch him next time you see him as its a long story, and he tells it well. Re Jonny's arm pain, bit of a mystery, but he's already seen the chief medic from the GB Olympic team who is local, so we are certainly trying to get to the bottom of it! Again thanks for all the support and interest in the guys out there trying to fight up the rankings.
Perhaps Jonny could organise himself a login here and write us a match report LOL.
Really difficult situation re the forearm pain. As you say, let's hope he finally gets a definitive diagnosis from somewhere and then a solution. If it's any help, I can recommend an excellent physio who has sorted me out on numerous occasions when others have failed to do so. I remember having a back problem a few years ago. The hospital wanted MRI scans, 10 weeks rehab and a whole host of anti-inflammatories etc. John had me fully recovered and back on court within 24 hours. I think he used to act as physio for Chelsea many years ago and he also told me that he has treated several tennis players.
He is now based sufficiently close to the NTC in London, that when I went to Wimbledon qualies, I managed to walk to his practice from there. If you want details, send me a PM and I will pass them on.
