Neither Jarryd nor Tom has a doubles ranking at the moment so this will at least get them both back on the rankings listing, which is an achievement, and useful.

Shame that Luke and Billy couldn't make it through too.....

I thought Tom had retired. Good to see him playing again, but a shame he's never been able to play all year around - the talent is clearly there. I assume funding is the main issue?

Yes, Tom's ITF activity level shows just Belgian futures this year ( and just some of them, but at least they put on quite a few ). I believe that he is now based in Belgium ?

Someone said he was coaching in Belgium.
I think he had also some tennis-based business interests with his brother (also a tennis coach).
Good luck to him.

Yes, our most underreported (not on this board, but elsewhere) junior Grand Slam winner - it's good to see him still playing, and hope he does well.

Had forgotten he was a Grand Slam winner

But he's just taken the first set 7-6(2) in the QF, after being an early break down.

But Tom and Jarryd are through to the doubles final

They won their semi easily and will play the top seeds in the final.
