British Tour - Sutton Premier

I think you've missed an 's' out in your first link. The one in the addict's post is correct.

Thanks for coming down to watch the Thomas Aegon Open at Sutton Tennis & Squash Club.  I post regular updates on the club website www.stscsport.co.uk and photos on http://eastlandswell.co.uk/photographs/thomas/index.html

My pleasure, I enjoyed my afternoon, and chatting to various players, officials and spectators. And especially looking at your superb photos !

(I edited the links above)

Sorry, the addict, I just copy and paste it's about the limit of my techno saviness....

But if anyone went down there today and has any info about Eleanor Dean's match, or retirement, it's be interesting....

I'm impressed that Eleanor took a set off Katy. I hope it's nothing serious as it shows even without many matches should can compete with top 300 players.

I'm not actually surprised that she got a set against Katy. She showed against Aimee yesterday that she has plenty of power and good tactics and it was probably good preparation for today, as Aimee was certainly matching her in the early stages. But Ellie has played only a few matches, and probably needs more match practice against the higher ranked players to move up the next step.

Just a note - all Friday's matches were played on the three clay courts due to the weather, which probably had quite an influence on Katy v Ellie
